MyCSULB: Where is it?
CSULB is located in downtown Los Angeles, and is easily accessible from anywhere in the city. The campus itself is a large area, with plenty of places to go and things to do. The areas around campus are full of shops, restaurants, and nightlife options. There are also a number of parks and botanical gardens that offer a great way to relax and get some fresh air.
Some of the best places on campus to study include the Valley Life Sciences Building, which has a lot of comfortable seating and several large windows that let in plenty of natural light, as well as the McIntire Library. Both have helpful staff who can help you find what you’re looking for.
If you’re looking for something fun to do, there’s no shortage of options on campus. The Recreational Sports Facility (RSF) has a wide variety of sports available, from basketball to volleyball to soccer. The gym also has a pool and separate workout areas for cardio training or weightlifting. If you want to go out on the town, there are plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance of campus. And if you want to take your studies further into the night, check out one of the many bars and lounges located near Cal State LA Downtown’s iconic architecture!

There are so many things to do on campus at Cal State Los Angeles! Whether you’re a student looking for fun activities or just want to explore the city, here are some of the best things to do on campus.
Take a trip down memory lane at the University Museum. This museum has exhibits that cover everything from ancient artifacts to more recent pieces of art. It’s great for historical buffs and students can take advantage of free admission on weekdays during school hours.

•The Hub Coffee House: This coffee house is perfect for studying or grabbing some quick caffeine. They offer a variety of coffee drinks and snacks like sandwiches and scones.
•Pizza Hut: If you’re in the mood for pizza, Pizza Hut is definitely the place to go. They have all sorts of pizza options, from thin crust to deep dish, and they also have pasta dishes if you’re feeling more adventurous.
•Tim Hortons: If you’re looking for somethingquick and easy, Tim Hortons is your go-to. They have lots of menu options like sandwiches and salads, as well as specialty coffee drinks and desserts.
MyCSULB: What are my favorite places to hang out?
As a local student at the California State University, Long Beach, it is difficult to not have a favorite spot on campus. While there are many great places to hang out on CSULB’s campus (and off), these are some of my favorites.
First and foremost, I absolutely love the library. It’s always so quiet and peaceful inside and it’s such an amazing resource for learning. I also really enjoy walking around campus and checking out all of the different areas. There’s just something about the scenery that makes me feel happy!
Another favorite spot of mine is Logans Beach. It’s such a beautiful location and perfect for relaxing or fishing during the summer months. And if you get a chance, don’t forget to check out the nearby aquarium!
Finally, I can’t leave out The Pitstop convenience store on Figueroa near Centennial Hall – it’s become my go-to place for coffee and snacks during breaks. There are always so many fun things going on inside (like free movie screenings every other week!) and it feels like a real community hub on campus.
MyCSULB: What are my favorite classes to take?
There are so many great things to do on campus at the University of California, Santa Barbara! From classes to outdoor activities, here are some of my favorite classes to take.
Favorite Class: Anthropology 400
This is a fascinating class that investigates the origins and evolution of human culture. It’s been called one of the most interesting classes offered at UCSB, and I can’t agree more. The professor is brilliant and engaging, and we’ve had some really interesting discussions in class. I highly recommend it!

CSULB is a large university with a lot to offer. Whether you’re looking for an atmosphere of academia or nightlife, the offerings on campus are diverse and plentiful. Here are some of our favorite things to do on campus:
1. Take a walk on the beach: The Pacific Ocean is just a short walk from campus, making it easy to take in some sun and relaxation. There are lots of trails that wind their way through the sand dunes, so you can explore at your leisure.
2. Attend a concert: CSULB’s Music Department has a wide range of concerts to choose from, both big-time performers and up-and-coming bands. Whether you’re an orchestra fan or just enjoy live music, there’s likely something on the schedule that will appeal to you.
3. Join a club or organization: From environmental organizations to student government, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved on campus. Joining a club or organization can give you great networking opportunities and provide you with important information about what’s going on around you.
